take a literary adventure to dublin to inspire your own writing

This workshop is for women who want to take a transformative journey - one that will focus on claiming your voice as a writer, and furthering your chosen writing project. Set within an inspiring city, you will write every day, and you will deepen your writing craft by learning new techniques.

The backdrop for the workshop is world-famous Dublin, where we’ll visit the pubs and cafes that the literary giants also frequented. We’ll read from famous Irish women writers like: Elizabeth Bowen, Edna O'Brien, Ann Enright and Mary Lavin. Have your senses stimulated and your intellect expanded by these remarkable women writers.

Mornings will be spent learning the craft of writing and applying it to your chosen writing project. Afternoons will be for working on your own writing and workshopping it with the group (if you're ready). On three of the afternoons, we will travel around Dublin - visiting the places that famous women writers wrote and lived at. You'll end the week having made significant progress on outlining a new book, writing a few chapters, having done research, or feeling completely invigorated by refining your writing craft.

You'll be guided by a skilled writing coach and in the supportive company of other women writers.

Imagine...a whole week dedicated to you and your writing! All writers at any level of experience are welcome, even if you’re not yet calling yourself a writer.

We specialize in first-time writers, those who have a book in them that is yearning to come out, but might not have started yet.

All you need is the desire to write and a willingness to allow the writing to happen.
